As the band’s longest-serving member, Kevin occupies that rare, slightly baffling musical space: a drummer who actually sings lead. Having spent decades sharing stages with 60s royalty (The Searchers, Marty Wilde, Wayne Fontana), he has been drumming and touring since the dawn of time—or the early sixties, which feels remarkably close. He shows zero signs of stopping, mostly because the rest of the band refuses to let him retire.
Six years in with the band this July, Matthew is well past the "new recruit" probationary period—though the older lads still like to pretend he just joined yesterday. A multi-award-winning multi-instrumentalist, Cavern Club regular, and TV performer, he brings a deep-rooted passion for the 60s sound, exceptional technical flair, and just enough youth to keep the average age of the band at a respectable level.
Lee holds down the bottom-end groove with the authority of a fully certified member of the Bass Players Union. Delivering those crucial vocal harmonies that define the authentic Merseybeat sound, he's a true 60s aficionado. Bonus: as an accomplished sound engineer, Lee also carries the heavy burden of making sure the rest of the lads actually sound good night after night. You're welcome, boys.
A formidable guitarist whose CV looks like a music history textbook. Des has done it all—from jazz and dance bands to recording with US country royalty like Tammy Wynette. Twice voted Country Musician of the Year and fresh from years touring with top Eagles tribute Talon, Des brings world-class fretboard wizardry to the lineup. We still occasionally let him play country licks in the dressing room.
